Satellite Navigation Systems:
You will need to enter 'DE45 1AA' as the postcode, and select 'Castle Mount Crescent' as the road. We are on the corner of Baslow Road and Castle Mount Crescent, but some navigation systems will direct you to the other end of Baslow Road, which is rather a long way off.
Directions from the M1 motorway:
Leave the M1 at junction 29 and take the A617 towards Chesterfield town centre. This is a dual carriageway.
Follow the signs for the A619 to Baslow, Chatsworth and Bakewell. This is a straight road over the moor from Chesterfield until you reach Baslow.
Take a left at the first roundabout in Baslow which will take you past the village green, and another left at the next roundabout which will take you out of Baslow.
About 100 metres out of the Baslow, the A619 continues down a road off to the right, with a signpost to Bakewell. Take this turning. Bakewell is the next town you will come to.
Coming downhill into Bakewell you will pass a hospital on your left. It is a large old building complex with a drive and gardens at the front of it.
About 100 metres further down on your left, at the next turning on the left is Castle Mount Crescent , where you can park for Castle Hill Farm House.
